Our Service to You
We provide an online credit broking service that enables you to apply for loans and other financial products from our panel of lenders, credit brokers, and alternative solution providers (“Our Partners”). The names and websites of our Partners can be found in our Privacy Policy. We do not charge you a fee for using our service, but we receive a commission from Our Partners if they can provide you with the product or service you are looking for. Our Partners are authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, and you are protected under the Consumer Credit Act 1974 (as amended) (“CCA”). We have no control over the acceptance of an application as this is subject to your financial circumstances.
You can access our service in the following ways:

Applying via our website’s application form https://directlend.co.uk/apply/
Applying through one of our partner websites, where we work in conjunction with our partner and transfer you to our panel of lenders, credit brokers, and alternative solution providers.
To use our service as a credit broker, you must complete the online application, providing us with information about you and your financial circumstances.

Soft Credit Searches
Our panel of lenders will undertake a soft credit search with their credit reference agency to validate your identity, assess your eligibility for the loan, and prevent fraud. This soft search will be recorded on your credit history but is not visible to lenders and will not impact your credit score. If you do not want our panel of lenders to undertake a soft credit search, you should stop using our website immediately and not proceed with the application.

Application Outcomes
Upon completing the application, if you have been accepted by a lender, we will share details of the financial provider. The order in which we display the lenders will be based on the total amount payable, with the lowest amount first and the highest last. We have no control over the acceptance of an application, as this is subject to your financial circumstances.
In some cases, a lender may offer you a loan with a higher or lower amount than you initially applied for, resulting in a different outcome. Please consider the impact of this when deciding to proceed with the loan.
If we cannot find a suitable lender, you may be directed to an alternative solution provider offering services such as credit reports and credit builders. Please consider their services before proceeding.

Your Use of Our Website
Our website is for your personal use only, and you must not use it in an unlawful or fraudulent manner. You should only use our service if you are a UK resident aged 18 years or over. If you are using our website on behalf of another person, you are responsible for ensuring that they understand and agree to these terms and conditions and have given you permission to provide their information.

Communication and Marketing
We, our panel of lenders, credit brokers, and alternative solution providers may contact you by telephone, SMS, email, and/or post to provide information and alerts relating to your application and/or services we think may be of interest to you. In order to do so, we will rely on the consent you have given us in your application form, and we will only contact you using the means of communication that you have consented to, for the purposes you have expressly authorised. You can opt out of any contact from us at any time by clicking on the links within the SMS/email or by contacting us. Please, see our Privacy Policy in conjunction with this section.

Credit Checks and References
We may carry out a soft search on you when you use our website to find a financial product or service. This does not affect your credit score and will only be visible to you. If you decide to proceed with any offer presented by one of Our Partners, they will also carry out their own identification and validation checks, including full credit checks (also known as “hard” searches), in accordance with their criteria.

Responsibility for Information Provided
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is true and accurate. Misleading information will be regarded as a breach of our terms and may result in the termination of any agreement you enter with Our Partners.
